Tesla Battery Day

New battery will travel 1.6 million km and will be cheaper
Tesla will have developed a new battery for its Electric Vehicles (VE), which will not only be able to last 1.6 million kilometers, but, thanks to its substantially lower production costs, it may come to make VE as competitive, in terms of prices, when internal combustion vehicles.
American Tesla remains committed to leading the development of electric vehicles, as well as their batteries.

According to the Reuters agency, these new 1.6 million kilometer batteries will begin to be installed, either at the end of this year, or at the beginning of the next. Starting with the Tesla Model 3, made in China.
According to the same sources, these batteries will start to be installed in the Model 3 units sold in the Chinese market, since they will have been jointly developed by the Chinese company CATL (Contemporary Amperex Technology Limited).
Although these batteries are launched, first, in China, Tesla’s intention is to market them, also, in other world markets, using, however, versions with greater energy density, greater capacity, and above all, with even lower prices.
